These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website https://andamanboatways.com (the “Website”) and the services provided by Andaman Boatways (“we,” “us,” “our,” or the “Company”), including but not limited to ferry bookings, private boat bookings, island activities, accommodations, and related travel services in the Andaman Islands.By accessing the Website, making a booking, or using our services, you (“you,” “your,” or the “User”) agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or our services.

1. Acceptance of TermsThese Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Andaman Boatways. We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use of the Website or services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. Services Provided
Andaman Boatways acts as an intermediary and booking agent for third-party service providers, including government and private ferry operators, activity providers, accommodation providers, and others (collectively, “Service Providers”). We facilitate bookings for ferry tickets, private boats, island experiences (e.g., scuba diving, kayaking, trekking), accommodations, and related services.When you make a booking through us, you enter into a direct contractual relationship with the relevant Service Provider. Your booking is also subject to the terms and conditions of the Service Provider, which may include additional rules, restrictions, or liabilities.3. Booking Process
Bookings can be made via the Website, email, WhatsApp, or phone.
You must provide accurate and complete information, including passenger details, contact information, and any special requirements.
Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of full payment (unless otherwise specified) and issuance of a confirmation email or ticket.
Prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices are subject to change due to availability, fuel surcharges, or government fees.
You are responsible for ensuring that all passengers meet travel requirements, such as valid ID, permits for restricted areas in the Andaman Islands, and any health or visa obligations.
4. Payment
Payments are processed securely through our payment gateway.
Full payment is required at the time of booking unless a deposit option is offered.
We accept major credit/debit cards and other methods as displayed on the Website.
Any additional charges (e.g., for changes, extras, or port fees) must be paid promptly.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations must be made in writing via email to hello@andamanboatways.com or through the Website where available.Specific Cancellation Policy for Ferry and Boat Reservations:
All reservations must be cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure time to receive a full refund (less any applicable payment processing fees).
If cancellation is made within 24 hours of departure, or in case of no-show, the full price will be forfeited, and no refund will be provided.
For other services (e.g., activities, accommodations):
Cancellation policies vary by Service Provider and will be communicated at the time of booking.
Refunds, where applicable, will be processed minus any non-refundable fees, administrative charges, or penalties imposed by the Service Provider.
In cases of force majeure (e.g., bad weather, government restrictions, or ferry operator cancellations), we will assist in rescheduling where possible, but no refunds are guaranteed beyond what the Service Provider offers.Refunds, if approved, will be processed to the original payment method within 7-14 business days.
6. Changes and Amendments
Changes to bookings (e.g., date, passenger details) are subject to availability and the Service Provider’s policies.
Amendment fees may apply, in addition to any fare differences.
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes but cannot guarantee them.
7. Liability and Limitations
Andaman Boatways acts solely as an agent and is not responsible for the actual provision of services by third-party Service Providers.
We are not liable for any loss, damage, delay, injury, or inconvenience caused by Service Providers, weather conditions, strikes, government actions, or other events beyond our control.
You travel at your own risk. We recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellations, medical emergencies, and trip interruptions.
Our maximum liability, if any, shall not exceed the total amount paid for the booking in question.
8. User Responsibilities
You must comply with all laws, regulations, and rules of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, including restricted area permits (RAP/PAP).
Provide accurate passenger information matching government-issued ID.
Arrive at the departure point on time with valid tickets and documents.
Behave responsibly during travel and activities; disruptive behavior may result in denial of service without refund.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the Website (text, images, logos, etc.) is owned by Andaman Boatways or its licensors and may not be used without permission.
10. Privacy
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy [link if available, otherwise: available on request].
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Port Blair, Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
